FAQs
Ihr habt Fragen?
Wir haben Antworten.
Indoor: Monster Party is built specifically for children aged 5 to 9, under the supervision of an adult. Magic Alley and Jungle Games are playable from age 10 accompanied by adults. Outdoor: Echoes of Berlin works beautifully with older kids and teens from age 14, because you head out as a team on a city rally through Berlin and save the capital from the collapse of the parallel universes together.
For very young children, the challenge is usually attention span, not the puzzles themselves. If you're unsure, drop us a line and we'll help you choose.
For a day out with teens, Echoes of Berlin, Magic Alley, Boller Battle and Prison Island work particularly well. Echoes of Berlin takes you on an app-guided mission through a parallel Berlin from age 14, Magic Alley whisks you into an enchanted world, Boller Battle is a station-based outdoor gameshow with 9 mini-games from age 10 with adult supervision, and Prison Island Battle Mode pits two teams against each other in the same room. Spy and Escape is from age 13.
Difficulty depends on the room, not on age. For an easier start, Admiral Kingdom, Jungle Games and Magic Alley are a good fit. If you already have escape room experience and want more of a challenge, Berlin Babylon and Prison Island are the better picks. Madhouse 101 is our most thrilling room and is exclusively for players aged 16 and up.
Six of our seven rooms are not scary. They're playful and puzzle-focused. The exception is Madhouse 101: this room deliberately works with jump scares, is only playable from age 16, and is perfect for anyone who enjoys a bit of a thrill. If you're looking for rooms without scares, we recommend Berlin Babylon, Magic Alley, Admiral Kingdom, Jungle Games, Monster Party, and Prison Island.
Each of our six escape rooms lasts up to 66 minutes of actual game time. Add roughly 15 minutes for the briefing and another 15 minutes for the debrief and team photos, so plan around 90 minutes on site in total.
Rooms take 2 to 6 or 2 to 8 players, depending on the mission. The sweet spot is 4 to 6, because you have enough minds for the puzzles without getting in each other's way. In Battle Mode at Prison Island or Jungle Games, two teams of up to 7 players compete in parallel, so up to 14 total.
No. You don't need to be particularly fit or sporty. The rooms are about thinking, combining and communicating, not climbing or running. If you'd rather not crouch or kneel, there's always an alternative way to solve the puzzles.
Yes. The doors open via clearly visible emergency buttons, so you can leave the room whenever you want. Our game masters watch and listen via camera and microphone and give hints as soon as you want them. On request, or in an emergency, they'll open the room for you during the game.
With teenagers ages 14 and up, you can explore the capital in different parallel worlds with “Echoes of Berlin”; teens ages 13 and up can join in on the puzzles with “Spy & Escape.” The mobile game show “Boller Battle” is suitable for families with kids ages 10 and up.
Yes, we have step-free access and an accessible toilet. Some games can be played in a wheelchair provided by us. Because the rooms differ by mission, it's best to plan with us individually. Drop us an email at enter@exit-game.de.
On site, you can get drinks like water, soft drinks, Vitamin Well, and freshly made popcorn. For team events and company bookings, we can arrange catering for you. If you're celebrating a birthday with us and book the birthday room, you can enjoy your own cake after the game. Other outside food and drinks are generally not permitted.
Yes, you can choose from a selection of cold drinks such as water, spritzers, soft drinks, beer, non-alcoholic beer, and Vitamin Well. During the Christmas season, we also offer mulled wine and punch. For a snack before or after the game, you can treat yourself to sweet or salty popcorn.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked time. That leaves enough time for arrival, briefing, and the full 66 minutes of game time. Please don't arrive too early either, so you avoid long waits and overlaps with the group before you.
When booking online, you can pay by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal or Klarna. On site, you pay for drinks and snacks by EC or credit card. We do not accept cash on site. For team events and school groups, payment by invoice is possible by prior arrangement.
Yes, to ensure the best possible gaming experience, there are different restrictions depending on the game.
1) Our “Kids-Only” mission, “Monster Party,” is available for children ages 5 to 9 under adult supervision.
3) All other missions are generally designed for adults but can be played by children ages 12 and up, ideally accompanied by an adult. Please note, however, that some puzzles may still be too challenging for younger children, and the thematically decorated rooms may also contain darker or more mystical sections. “Magic Alley” can be played by children ages 10 and up when accompanied by an adult. Children and teenagers aged 12 and older can try the game on their own. However, it is advisable for an adult to remain on standby in the lobby and be ready to intervene if needed.
3) The “Madhouse” mission is restricted to players aged 16 and older. Feel free to contact us if you’d like advice!
Our escape rooms are safe! EXIT® has of course a permit to operate the facility, along with a corresponding and coordinated fire safety plan that also includes an evacuation plan. In addition, every group always has the option to leave the rooms on their own using emergency buttons and emergency exit doors. Furthermore, our trained game masters keep an eye on you at all times—they’re right next door and can reach you in no time in case of emergency.
No. Once you've booked a room, it's exclusively yours so you can focus entirely on yourselves and your mission.
No. In our escape rooms, cell phones are neither allowed nor required—neither for taking photos, nor as a light source, nor for looking up information. However, we’ll take a group photo after the game that you can take home with you.
Yes. Please check in at our reception desk right on time before the game starts. If you’re running late, please let us know by phone at +49 (0)30 - 20 84 99 07 0. If you’re late, we may have to deduct time from your game so that the group after you can start on time. If you’re unable to play the game at all or can only play part of it due to your lateness, we will not refund the game.
