With or without parents?
Children up to 8 years old always play accompanied by an adult. Older kids can master their adventures alone. Please have a look at our terms and conditions or contact us.
Everyone plays along!

Family trip to Berlin: Escape Room fun for young and old
You're looking for a family trip in Berlin that everyone can have fun with - the six-year-old, the twelve-year old, parents and grandparents? You've found the right place: EXIT Game at Friedrichstraße. For years now we've been running one of Berlin's most beloved escape room houses, and have curated our rooms to make sure any family can find the perfect one. Instead of spending time in front of the tv or a tablet, you get a 66-minute experience that all of you will remember for along time - including a team picture to take home.
Located right next to S+U Friedrichstraße, we are perfectly suitable for any family. Contact us before your booking to make sure we can provide you with our accessible entrance. That way even strollers, wheelchairs, grandparents or little siblings have an easy time playing at our location.
To make sure you don't have to guess which room is suitable for your family, we have curated our recommendations for different family types below.
Which escape room is suitable for which family?
Magic Alley – for fans of magic and little magicians from 10 years
Magic Alley is our clear first recommendation for families with Harry Potter fans, cosplay enthusiasts, and everyone who has always wanted to be a little magical. To enter this entirely magical world, you will leave Berlin behind for a magical alley full of artifacts, spells and secrets, which can only be solved by putting all of your heads and hands together. The game is suitable for 4-8 players from 10 years onward (accompanied by at least one adult). It is especially perfect for young wizards' birthdays, creative children, and imaginative parents.
Prison Island – for big families or patchwork families and teenage birthdays of up to 14 people
Split up into two teams, you play in two identical prison blocks to try and see who can escape first. Prison Island can fit up to 14 people, can be played from 12 years, and brings the perfect mixture of competitive spirit and team spirit, to be captured in your team photo at the end.
Monster Party – the perfect starting point for kids from years
Monster Party is our only mission that was specifically designed for kids between the ages of 5 and 9 - without any adults in mind. The small heroes are being guided through this colorful, child-friendly mission by friendly monsters, to solve tasks with their hands, eyes and voices. Up to 10 kids can play at the same time, which is why Monster Party is perfect for any children's birthday. It is also a great place to get started into the world of escape rooms: Whoever completes this mission is set up perfectly to continue with Magic Alley or Prison Island once they turn 10 or 12. You can also book our birthday room to use for your party after the game - here you can unwrap gifts, eat cake, and party! We can provide you with popcorn and drinks.
Which game for which age?
- Monster Party: 5–9 years, up to 10kids; ideal for childrens birthdays and the first escape room experience
- Magic Alley: from 10 years with an adult, from 12 without adults, for 4-8 players; ideal for fans of magic, creative kids and mixed families
- Prison Island (Battle Mode): from 12 years, up to 14 people; ideal for big families, patchwork families and teen birthdays
- Berlin Babylon and Admiral Kingdom: further rooms from 10 years with an adult - we can gladly advise what is suitable for your family

How to plan your family trip
Plan around 90 minutes for one game: short briefing, 66 minutes mission and about 15 minutes for pictures and questions after the fact. Mixed-age families often solve it like this: The small ones play Monster Party, while the older ones play Magic Alley or Prison Island - and afterwards everyone meets up in our lobby to talk about their missions. Do you have any questions?

Is the EXIT venue accessible?

That depends on the particular room, so we prefer to advise you on it personally. Some of our missions can be played in a wheelchair we provide. Just write a quick note to enter@exit-game.de and we will find the right solution together.
Are there drinks and snacks on site?
Yes, and we will let slip the highlight right away: fresh popcorn. Alongside it we carry a selection of drinks, for example the Vitamin Well soft drinks. Enjoy snacks and drinks before and after the game in the lobby, and for larger events we also offer catering.
How can we pay?
At booking you pay conveniently by PayPal, credit card, GiroPay or Klarna. For larger team events, payment by invoice is possible by arrangement. Drinks and snacks on site are settled by card, cash is unfortunately not available.
Children's birthday at EXIT: what is possible?
Yes, you can celebrate children's birthdays with us. For kids, the Monster Party room (from 5, playable ages 5 to 9 with supervision) or the enchanted mission Magic Alley (from 10) are a great fit. After the game you carry on celebrating undisturbed in our birthday room.
Do we have to be on time?
Yes, we do ask that of you. Check in on time at our reception, ideally 15 minutes early, so the full 66 minutes remain yours. If you are running late, give us a quick call at +49 30 208499070. In case of a delay we may have to deduct a little game time so the group after you can start on time. If a delay means you cannot start or can only partly play, the game price unfortunately cannot be refunded.
